TÜV SÜD offers training for AI systems

Engineering services company T脺V S脺D has begun offering management training for AI (artificial intellegince) applications.

The German company, which recently on an automated quality control system based on artificial intelligence, said that while AI applications are becoming more and more common, 鈥渞egulation is lagging behind technical development鈥.

T脺V S脺D鈥檚 training programmes cater to those needing background on existing AI technologies and their related regulations. Topics covered include data management, lifecycle, safety & security, common errors, quality assurance, control & testing, best practice and 鈥淎I robustness鈥.

Dr Martin Saerbeck, CTO Digital Service at T脺V S脺D in Singapore, said, 鈥淚t targets companies, organisations and startups seeking to develop marketable AI applications鈥.

鈥淲e observe that many established companies are developing and using AI products but are not AI experts and run into dependability difficulties when it comes to implementation.鈥

鈥淥n the other side of the spectrum there are companies specialising in AI with highly creative ideas, but are unaware of either legal or normative requirements or how to assure the quality of their AI-based development process. Our training helps both groups to develop and use AI applications in a quality- and market-focused manner.鈥
