L&T Construction completes 3D-printed building in India

India-based L&T Construction has utilised COBOD鈥檚 technology to reduce execution time by 80% and cost by 40% on a 3D-printed post office in Bengaluru in India.
The construction company recently completed India鈥檚, and the world鈥檚 first, 3D printed post office in 43 days.
The post office project is said to have a total floor area of 1,021 square feet (94.9 m虏) and costing 2.6 million rupees (US$31,200).
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated this accomplishment on social media, stating, 鈥淓very Indian would be proud to see India鈥檚 first 3D printed Post Office at Cambridge Layout, Bengaluru.
